Razor Blade Smile (1998)

Lilith Silver is a stylish and modern girl. She balances her life between her job (as a contract killer) and her personal life (socializing in goth clubs in London). Oh, yes, I forgot! She's also a vampire and has an impressive good taste for latex clothing.

Excellent movie for insiders in the goth scene. You can see (and smile) various detailed references to this culture. By the way. Of course, this is not a movie to be taken serious. It's not dramatic, it's not sad, and you sure will not loose your heart and soul watching it.

One thing granted. Either you like the movie or not; you sure will have some voyeuristic pleasure watching Lilith Silver in some scenes... ;)

Nadja (1994)

Loneliness, desperation, sex... this is the story of Nadja. How she lived after the death of his father; the rupture of her family; her search for love and comprehension; in a world turned against her real inner self... she is a vampire; she lives forever, and she fells forever... empty.

Produced by David Lynch, Nadja was directed by Michael Almereyda, using DuArt black-and-white 35mm film and a Pixelvision toy video camera. The movie soundtrack is simply magnific - you will never forget the scenes with songs from Portishead and Verve.

Press the eject and give me the tape... VHS please!

We can see red pictures in motion. Little smiling horses carved with happiness riding on the landscape of a pos-apocalyptic social rampage. Visual metaphors for dark lust, funny murders, dream trips, love bites & religious LSD induced mental disorders. Intense, bizarre and strange cinema, from the very beginning of the last century. Never suppose to know everything. We would sleep better if these movies have never been done. And I am here to show you why! Kiss Kiss Bang Bang ;)
